Four days ago, I decided to heed my Ortho’s advice and get braces. Now, I am miserable! I cannot chew anything. I am having frequent headaches and I am not sure if it is the braces or hunger pain. The metal and wires are scraping on the inside of my lips and cheeks. I have wax on one side of my mouth and antiseptic on the other. I cannot talk sexy anymore! What am I going to do?
