How To Install WordPress Plugins

When I first started blogging with WordPress, installing plugins was daunting. I had to download the plugins, login to my GoDaddy account and upload the plugins to the FTP server. It was too much work. Now you can search and install plugins right from your WordPress Dashboard in less than 3 minutes. Feel free to watch the video or see instructions below.

Step 1: Log into your WP account.

Step 2: Under Plugins scroll down to Add New

Step 3: Under Search, type in the plugins by name, author or tags

Step 4: Click on Search

Step 5: Once you have located the correct plugin, click on Install

Step 6: Click on Install in the Description window

Step 7: Go back to Plugins Menu and scroll down to Installed

Step 8: Scroll down to recent installed plugins and click on activate.
