Growing up in Long Island, New York, the Daily News stayed in two places in the house, the kitchen and the bathroom. I could remembrance the days, as I restlessly waited for my father to finish his dinner while he reads the newspaper, so I can enjoy the cartoon column. It became a ritual in my home. My sibling and I could not touch the paper, unfold the paper or even move the paper until my father was finished. If we did, we were popped in the head. Lol! Traveling on the subways and buses, I would squeeze through a crowd of people with the NY Times underneath their arms while shoving a dirty (tasty) hot dog in their mouth. That was the good ole day!

Listen in this episode as I explain some of the reason why the newspaper industry is declining and what do they need to do to survive in the game.
