This week has been challenging and painful journey. Why is it that every time I visit my Orthodontist, I come back talking like Sylvester the Cat, cannot eat any solid food and suffer from sleepless nights for at least seven days? I sit here and wonder how in the heck I survived this week. I have been running like crazy.
- 40-hour workweek
- (3) Hours conducting a software training session
- (3) Social media evaluations
- (2) Consultation sessions
- (8) Hours managing my social media activities
- (2) Pick-up and drop-off to the YMCA
- (1) Pick-up and drop-off for basketball practice
- (3) Trips to the Publix Supermarket Pharmacy
- Grocery shopping in 25 minutes
- 30 Minute wait at the Post Office
- (2) Nights of preparing dinner - Yeah only two, so what! That why there is Boston Market, Lean Pockets and Subways for my son, Lanel and yogurt, soup, fruit smoothie and oatmeal for me. Since I cannot eat anything, I thought I have a jump start on my starvation diet!
Whew!
The pain was so unbearable today; I had to call my photographer, Gerald Beckham of Beckham Photography and reschedule my photo shoot. OMG! I have been looking forward to this day for months and now I have to wait another week. You know, a diva has to be feeling fabulous while taking her photos!
Now it is a Friday night, I cannot go dancing with the girls because I am feeling a little woozy while on Vicodin. However, I feel no pain and feel like flying right now. Yippee!
Anyway, I am going to lie down and catch up on some rest. Oh, no, I forgot! I have to pick-up Lanel from the YMCA again. Ready or not, I will be picking him up by 8pm without any drama. I have to be fresh and alert Saturday morning for the final touches of my e-book, so I can forward to Glenn Weissman for revisions.
If you are wondering how I overcome this challenging but painful week, I have two words for you. Passion and Determination. I am a queen trying to build my throne, so I refuse to slow down. My passion for teaching and my determination to success keeps me going every single day. It was challenging but I made it! Until then, have a fun and fabulous weekend for me.
