Do you know someone who is a victim of an abusive relationship (physical or mental abuse)? Whether heterosexual or same-sex relationships, an abusive relationship can form and every year the reports of this crisis have risen.
After experiencing domestic violence first hand and the traumatic event of seeing my baby sister dying at the hands of domestic violence, it was time for me to speak out.
Please, if you know anyone who could benefit from hearing my special show on this topic called “Don’t Put Your Hands on Me!” Domestic Violence – Today’s Silent Killer, please let them know to tune in. My guests Zella Ransom of Pure Heart Ministry, Era Nichole of Arcani Productions and upcoming author, Tramaine Bailey will provide insight on abusive relationships they were involved in and how they escaped to a more productive life.
These three domestic violence survivors, have overcome their fears, took a stand and said “NO!” to domestic violence and are more successful for it.
Based on our personal domestic violence experience, we will discuss:
- The warning signs of abusive relationship
- Why did we stay or continue to go back to our angry partner?
- How domestic violence affected the children?
- What was our safety plan to leave?
- How has our decision to leave changed our lives?
- Where did we go for help?
