What to Blog About? – Everyday Business Life of a Consultant

One of the biggest challenges I hear about business blogging is “how to come up with fresh, unique content”. With the overload of repetitive blogs floating throughout the web, creativity and social participation are the key elements for becoming a successful blogger.

My next guest, Era Nichole, a Freelance Journalist, head writer and Public Relation Specialist, will offer some smart ideas on how to create fresh, unique content just by the activities business consultants and coaches perform on a daily basis.

Rapidly Getting Clients to Your Blog with Blogging For Coaches

One of the biggest questions I get ask often is, “How do I turn my blog visitors into paying clients?” With social media playing a huge part in building relationships and sharing information, how do we make money from those relationships we nourish?

Last week show, 5 Tools to Rapidly Getting Clients to Your Blog, was a blast! I was up until almost midnight, responding back from the wonderful comments on Facebook and Twitter.

Steve Martile and Hani Mourra from BloggingForCoaches.com did a wonderful job schooling the audience with some of their powerful tools to rapidly getting clients to your blog.

The Practical Guide to Exceptional Living with Author, Jim Garland

As we move into the new era of globalization, information consumption allows anyone to connect, compete and collaborate on a global level faster and cheaper than ever before. Nevertheless, information overloads from emails, web research, social media and blackberry can control our lives, become more difficult to make decisions and perform effectively.

The last show, I interviewed Jim Garland, CEO of Sharp Details, Inc. and the Author of “The Practical Guide to Exceptional Living”. Jim provided the audience easy to understand and easy to use concepts on what small businesses need to do to take more control over their life.

1. Building a Brand Plan – Create a brand plan that will give you a clear and simple story.

  • Who are you?

Blazing Blogging Tips from the Top Bloggers

Guest: Stephane Grenier

Show Topic: Creating A High-Profile, High-Traffic, and High-Profit Blog Isn’t Rocket Science!

Nan: How long does it take to become a successful blogger?
Steph: It depends on how you define success. On average, it takes about a year. My blog has been around for five years. It took two to three years to get my blog going.
A lot of people give up too fast.  It is difficult to reach success with blogging in six month. Give yourself time. It is more about pacing yourself instead of sprinting. It is about building up a community and watching it spread like wildfire.

Your business is not going anywhere if you get traffic coming to your site and no one wants to buy what you are selling. Business owners who thought just getting a website would improve their ROI, end up disappointed by the lack of results. Website conversions are one of the least understood concepts among small business owners.
